EMODnet Bathymetry at coming International Hydrographic Remote Sensing (HRS) Workshop (Sept 2018)

16 August 2018

The Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS), in collaboration with Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine (SHOM) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is organizing the first International Hydrographic Remote Sensing (HRS) Workshop (HRS-TH). It will take place September 18 to 20, 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The workshop is being held with the support of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO). The goal of the workshop is to accelerate the implementation of remote sensing and Satellite Derived Bathymetry (SDB) in hydrography.

EMODnet Bathymetry will be presented by Shom whereby the use of Satellite Derived Bathymetry (SDB) for the new EMODnet DTM release will be highlighted.

More information on the workshop can be found at the IHO website
