EMODnet Hydrography project presented at the GEBCO Science Day

30 September 2009

The SeaDataNet infrastructure and the EMODnet Hydrography preparatory action have been presented by MARIS at the GEBCO Bathymetric Science Day, 29th September 2009, in Brest - France. In the following discussion it was agreed, that metadata directories provide very important information for supporting sharing and exchanging of data sets in the marine and ocean domains, including hydrography.

A cooperation of GEBCO and the EMODnet Hydrography project partners will contribute to establishing a common metadata model for hydrographic data sets.
